The Sturgeon Lake Lions started a new community event in cooperation with the Corral Bar in Willow River. Tomorrow they will have a Chili Cook Off Fundraiser at the Corral Bar from 1-4pm! All proceeds will support our School! Hope to see everyone there!

MN House of Representatives member Nathan Nelson visited Willow River Area School today for a "Principal for a Day" experience. This initiative was to provide local legislators with an immersive, first hand experience of the work taking place within our school as well as sharing some of the challenges we are facing. Rep. Nelson spoke to with the junior class, read to the 2nd graders, toured our building, and had lunch with administration.
