This week has been National School Lunch Week!
Did you know the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) serves nearly 30 million children every school day. President John F. Kennedy created National School Lunch Week (NSLW) in 1962 to promote the importance of a healthy school lunch in a child's life and the impact it has inside and outside the classroom.
We want to thank our kitchen staff Sherry, Annette, Gina, Virginia and Tammy (not pictured) for all the great food you served our students every day. We appreciate you!

Thank you Matt and Crystal Peterson, Midwest Dairy and the Sturgeon Lake Lions for the new milk dispenser and accessories. Sherry happily showed the students how to use the dispenser. Students can choose from white or chocolate milk. The milk put in the dispensers comes from our local farmers and is fresh and better tasting.
