Katelyn Jasinski's essay was selected as 1st runner up in The “2024 High School Essay Contest”, proudly sponsored by the Richard I. Bong Veterans Historical Center.
The topic for this year's essay contest was "How do you feel social media has impacted your life personally, positively or negatively and what are your concerns about its evolution in the future?"
The contest was open to all High School students from The Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Northeastern Minnesota and Northwestern Wisconsin.
