Last night before the girls game vs. North Shore Storm (Two Harbors, Silver Bay and Duluth Marshall Cooperative), Rebel goalie, Mallory Hartl signed a National Letter of Intent to play hockey at Division I, Providence (RI).
The Rebels went on to win a 2-1 thriller. Mallory's laser focus was on display as she had 32 saves and faced a barrage of quality scoring chances from North Shore. Scoring for the Rebels were Sandra Ribich and Lily Ludwig. The North Shore Storm finally were able to break through Hartl's formidable wall with 10.8 seconds left in the 3rd period.
The Rebels travel to Proctor/Hermantown next Tuesday and come back home on Saturday November 23rd to play Fort Francis (Canada) at 1:00.
