MINNESOTA COMPREHENSIVE ASSESSMENTS (MCAS)
Willow River Area School is committed to helping all students successfully succeed on the MCAs. When possible, testing is spread over multiple days to help students focus on one section at a time. Furthermore, students taking tests online are able to test in their classroom environment which minimizes disruptions from being in a computer lab environment.

Our first job is to provide students with the academic experience necessary to fulfill the Minnesota Graduation Requirements. Beyond that, Willow River Area High School seeks to engage students with rigorous coursework that stretches their mind, connects new learning to personal experiences, and develops the whole student.

The Elementary and High School office is open from 7:30-3:30 on school days and is available by phone and email during the summer. Students should not be dropped off to school before 7:45 am or left at school after 3:30pm unless they are supervised by a staff member, coach or activity leader scheduled through Community Education. Please help us keep your children safe.
