Due to the large response we have received regarding emergency childcare, we have needed to implement some guidelines to ensure we are serving families with the highest need and able to follow the CDC’s & Minnesota Department of Health’s guidelines for social distancing, in order to keep all students and staff safe. We have a limited capacity to provide this care and ask families to respectfully follow the guidelines we set forth:
At this time, we are implementing these guidelines (effective Monday, March 23, 2020):
1.) We will prioritize care for Essential Emergency Workers only.
2.) If you have alternative care, are able to work from home or have another parent at home, have older siblings who can care for younger children, you will not qualify for emergency care.
All requests for emergency care will be screened by District Administrative Assistant Tara Prachar and requests need to go to her (218)372-3131 x114 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Only approved families may access this care. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes, but for safety reasons, to maintain student to staff ratios, and social distancing guidelines required by the Dept. of Health we must put these measures in place.
