mrs. anthony - music
Mrs. Anthony recently moved back to Minnesota after many years away. She holds a Bachelor’s in Music from Bethel University, and has taught private lessons in voice and flute for many years. She is very excited to be teaching music to elementary students. She enjoys many genres of music, but is partial to Celtic music and enjoys playing the Irish whistle. Her husband is a guitarist, pianist, and singer, so she enjoys playing music together with him. She has two grown sons, Nathan (electric guitar and bass), and Matthew (drums and guitar). Mrs. Anthony enjoys hiking and exploring, and can also be found spending time designing and sewing.

Greetings! My name is Lance Wittnebel and I teach elementary Physical Education here at Willow River. I have four previous years of teaching experience in the areas of PE and Special Education. I enjoy teaching PE because it allows me to impact physical activity and wellness in today’s youth. To me PE is about the journey of learning, practicing, and participating in health & sport related skills that can be enjoyed for a lifetime. To be successful in PE you don’t need to be the child equivalency of Joe Mauer or Lindsay Whalen, but rather be able to work effectively as a team, try new challenging concepts, and above all- do your best! Regardless of your ability level, it is my desire to make PE an enjoyable experience to all who enter my gym.
