Mrs. Johnson earned a bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Science Education from North Dakota State University in Fargo, North Dakota and master's degree in Educational Learning Technologies from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. She has been teaching in Willow River, her hometown, since 2013.
Along with teaching FACS classes, Mrs. Johnson is the advisor to the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America student group (FCCLA.) This group is a leadership and community service-based organization that hosts six community blood drives and other service events each year. She is also the advisor to the LifeSmarts team. LifeSmarts is a consumer-oriented competition team that focuses on knowledge in consumer rights and responsibilities, personal finance, health and safety, technology, and the environment. In her spare time, Mrs. Johnson loves to spend time with her family, go on camping trips, and sew |
